Because Posh Mongrel operates as a multi-vendor marketplace, return policies may vary slightly depending on the product type and vendor. This policy outlines our general return and refund rules.
You may request a return if:
The product is damaged, defective, or different from what was described
You received the wrong item
The item is missing parts/accessories
For return eligibility:
You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery
The product must be unused, unworn, and in original condition
Original packaging, tags, labels, and accessories must be intact
Note:Due to hygiene and safety reasons, certain items cannot be returned (see Section 7).
You may file a return request within:

Return requests made after this period may not be accepted.
To start a return:

Provide:
Order ID
Product name
Reason for return
Photos/videos of the issue
Our team will review your request within 1–3 business days
If approved, we will arrange:
A pickup through our courier partner, or
Ask you to ship the item to the vendor’s return address
Once the returned item is inspected and approved, a refund/replacement will be processed.
Refunds may be issued in the following forms:
Store Credit (fastest)
Original Payment Method (if permitted by vendor/gateway)
Bank Transfer (for COD orders, if applicable)
Exchange / Replacement Product
Refund timelines:
Store credit: 1–3 business days after approval
Bank/card refunds: 5–14 business days, depending on payment provider
Replacement: Dispatched once return is verified
Shipping fees, COD fees, or handling charges are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
If your package is:
Marked delivered but not received
Lost in transit
Stuck for an unusually long time
Contact us within 48 hours, and we will coordinate with the courier and vendor.
Replacements/refunds will be issued based on the courier’s investigation results.
If your item arrives damaged:
Take a video while opening the package
Share photos/videos clearly showing the issue
Contact us within 48 hours
We will arrange a free replacement or refund depending on availability.
For safety, hygiene, and customized production reasons, the following cannot be returned:
Pet apparel that shows signs of use or hair
Toys that pets have chewed or damaged
Treats, consumables, grooming supplies
Litter boxes, bedding, or hygiene products
Customized, monogrammed, or made-to-order items
Furniture that has been assembled or damaged during assembly
Items purchased during clearance/sale events (unless defective)
Specific vendors may have stricter rules, which will be displayed on the product page if applicable.
If your order includes items from different sellers:
Each item may have a separate return process
Return pickup may occur separately
Refunds may be processed independently after inspection
You will not be charged extra for multiple pickups.
Cancellations are governed by our Cancellation Policy.Typically:
Orders may be canceled before shipment
Once shipped, cancellation is no longer possible and will be treated as a return (if eligible)
Posh Mongrel reserves the right to:
Refuse return requests that appear fraudulent
Blacklist customers with repeated misuse
Reject items that are returned in poor condition or without original packaging
